The Vice President Finance leads the centralized Financial Planning and Commercial Finance functions for Bimbo Bakeries, USA. The position is responsible for leading the development of the strategic and annual operating plans, updating forecasts and period-end financial results. This includes the assessment of financial trends, spending variances and identifying/developing causal drivers. The Commercial Finance team supports the Brand, Customer and Revenue Growth Management(RGM) teams. Key responsibilities include supporting: product development, pricing and promotional strategy, and driving financial performance by contributing to top-line growth. The position is expected to collaborate with and ensure alignment across the Brand, Customer and Revenue Growth teams as well as the President and his Leadership Team.


Key Job Responsibilities:

o  Provides direct support to Senior Executive Team and is the primary point of contact with our parent company, Grupo Bimbo S.A. de C.V.

o  Leads the development of annual plans and reforecasts, with a particular focus on strategic planning.

o  Leads the process of developing annual plans, reforecasts and long-term plans.

o  Leads the team that provides insightful analytical analyses in support of business results.

o  Leads the development of presentations and business review materials that highlight performance, bring clarity to key issues, and support recommendations.

o  Support the development of business strategy; works with Brand and Revenue Growth leaders to develop business plans that grow volume, sales, share, and profit. 

o  Provides advanced financial modeling capabilities to support and develop better analysis, quantification and tracking of key business issues, trends, etc.



Position Requirements:

o  Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, MBA preferred.

o  10-15 years' of increasing responsibility within finance, accounting, and or business management.

o  This position requires the incumbent to have in-depth knowledge of profit and loss statements as well as excellent analytical, communication and strong financial planning and reporting experience.

o  Superior work ethic, flexibility, time management and organizational skills including the ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and high accountability.

o  Accountable to lead and effectively develop a team at varying stages of development.

o  Ability to lead by influencing peers and colleagues using collaborative, flexible styles; generate buy-in and ownership

o  High level of proficiency with Excel, Word and PowerPoint

o  Experience developing sales trends, forecasts, etc. and a demonstrated understanding of the impact of analytical data on company planning (volume/revenue)

o  Some travel may be required, international travel can be expected
